Richard Ridings, the ChiroCare Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) started ChiroCare Chiropractic Clinic in 2008 as he felt that patients in the Grimsby area had only had a limited glimpse of what Chiropractic really was. He started ChiroCare to demonstrate the full range of treatment that patients should expect of modern Chiropractic. Incorporating the latest, evidence-based approaches to treatment and rehabilitation.

Originally from Macclesfield in Cheshire, Richard completed his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology in 1999, graduating with honours. After a year working for a medical and scientific laser company he returned to university for a further 5 years to complete a Bachelor of Sciences degree (with honours) in Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Sciences and a Masters Degree in Chiropractic. In the year following this he attained full membership of the British Chiropractic Association and his professional recognition with the title Doctor of Chiropractic, awarded by the European Chiropractic Union (of which he is a member). During his final 5 years of University Richard found great fulfilment working during the evenings, weekends and holidays as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) with the elderly, disabled and learning disability groups. He recently became one of the first handful of British Chiropractors to qualify in the Dr Nielson Medical Acupuncture Technique™, the latest evidence-based approach from the medical establishment in Sweden exploiting the clinically useful properties of acupuncture for physical therapy.

Richard graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, a well recognised world leader in chiropractic standards of education and one of only 2 colleges in Europe to provide a world-wide recognised qualification. The high quality of Richard's treatments have earned ChiroCare Chiropractic Clinic in Grimsby, a reputation as a centre of excellence for the diagnosis and treatment of physical pain and injury.

"I love my job, there is nothing more enjoyable and satisfying than curing pain and helping patients to a better and happier quality of life"
